Our LGBTQ friends in our community are hurting right now and need our awareness and support.
Potsdam Pride has arranged to hold a QPR suicide awareness and prevention training for all concerned people this Saturday in partnership with the county from 4-5:30pm at the Human Services Building in Canton, in the upstairs conference room.

The person at Potsdam Pride wrote, "It's important for the wider community to see that we're in a mental health crisis, and that's why we're holding this training."
Indeed, tragically a trans woman who is a veteran committed suicide just last week outside the VA Hospital in Syracuse, wrapped in a trans flag.
